Refund policy


Right of withdrawal

Pursuant to Legislative Decree No. 206/2005, the Consumer Code, the consumer customer has the right to withdraw from the purchase contract for any reason, subject to the provisions set out in the following points.

To exercise this right, the customer must send Skin First Cosmetics S.r.l. a notice of withdrawal within and no later than 14 days from the date of receipt of the goods. The date shown on the delivery receipt shall prevail. 

The right of withdrawal must be exercised by the Customer by sending Skin First a notice containing an express declaration of the intention to exercise the right of withdrawal from the purchase contract, as well as the order number to which the withdrawal relates. To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Customer may choose from the following methods:

The notice must include the following information:

  • Customer's first and last name;
  • Customer's address;
  • Order number and purchase date;
  • Item description, quantity, reason for the return, and the corresponding amount paid.

In the event of exercising the right of withdrawal, the Customer must return the Products to Skin First without undue delay and, in any case, within 14 (fourteen) working days from the notice of withdrawal. The deadline is met if the Customer sends the Products within 14 (fourteen) days from the notice of withdrawal.

Upon receipt of the notice, Skin First shall notify the customer by e-mail of the instructions for shipping the products, which must take place within and no later than 14 working days from the date on which the customer expressly exercised the right of withdrawal.

If the Customer withdraws from the purchase contract pursuant to the General Terms and Conditions, all costs already paid to Skin First, including delivery costs (with the exception of the additional cost resulting from a particular type of delivery requested by the Customer, other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by Skin First), shall be reimbursed without undue delay and in any case within 14 (fourteen) days from the day on which Skin First was informed of the decision to withdraw. Such refunds will be made using the same payment method chosen for the initial transaction, unless the Customer has expressly requested a different payment method; in any case, the Customer shall not incur any costs as a result of the refund.

The refund may be withheld by Skin First until the Products have been delivered or until the Customer has provided proof of dispatch.

Please also note that the consumer customer, pursuant to the Consumer Code, may not exercise the right of withdrawal if any of the following is found:

  • Opening of the product, thereby compromising its integrity;
  • Absence of elements that are part of the product (e.g. case, cap, dispenser, etc.);
  • Damage to the product;
  • Goods returned after the 14 working days, which represent the maximum return period.

Please note that the shipping costs relating to the return of the goods are borne by the customer as provided for by Article 57, paragraph 1, of the Consumer Code.

The consumer customer may not exercise the right of withdrawal in the event of purchase of Digital Gift Cards (or Gift Vouchers); consequently, the amount spent on the purchase of this type of product will not be refunded.
