Loyalty Program Rules

These regulations (hereinafter the “Regulations”) govern the operating procedures and implementation of the Skin First Loyalty Program (hereinafter the “Program”) promoted by Skin First Cosmetics S.r.l. (hereinafter “Skin First”). 

1. Registration

To participate in the Program, the customer must be a natural person who has reached the age of majority and has their residence or domicile in Italy (hereinafter the “User”). To join the Program, the User must create an account (hereinafter, the “Account”) on the website https://www.skinfirstcosmetics.it (the “Site”), providing all the required data (including first name, last name, email) and creating a personal password.  


2. Purpose and duration of the program

The Program consists of various activities which, if completed by the User, will entitle them to accumulate points. Upon reaching certain point thresholds, listed in the following chapter, the User may request to redeem these accumulated points by obtaining a discount coupon to use for future purchases or use the same coupon during checkout. This coupon may also be used by the User after the end of the Program, limited to the points accumulated up to that date.  

The Program will last for 12 months from the effective date of the initiative. 


3. Point accumulation thresholds

The activities which, if completed by the User, will entitle them to accumulate points are as follows: 

  • Creating an Account on the website https://www.skinfirstcosmetics.it = 25 points;
  • For each completed order on the website https://www.skinfirstcosmetics.it, the User will receive 1 point for every euro spent (including any shipping costs and net of any discounts applied to the order);
  • Upon reaching a spending threshold of 150€ on the website https://www.skinfirstcosmetics.it (including any shipping costs and net of any discounts applied to the order), reached with one or more orders, the User will receive 400 extra points, in addition to the points corresponding to that spending (see point above). In other words: once the User accumulates 150 points (that is, reaches a total spend of 150€), they will receive 400 extra points. Please note that this reward may be granted to the User a maximum of once per year.

Below is a practical example:

  • On 30/4/23: the User reaches 150€ in spending on the site and receives 400 extra points.
  • On 30/11/23: the User reaches another 150€ in spending and does not receive the 400 points because a year has not yet passed.

Starting from 1/5/23, the User may start accumulating € spent on the site again to once more reach the 150€/150-point threshold and receive the 400 extra point reward again.

It is understood that Skin First reserves the right to add, modify, or supplement any activities that are part of the Program, notifying Users enrolled in the Program by email. The list of such Program activities is therefore to be understood as non-exhaustive.  

Skin First may also provide additional reward methods reserved for Users enrolled in the Program. 


4. Redemption thresholds

Below are the thresholds upon reaching which the User may request redemption of their accumulated points with a coupon, to be used after the purchase that generated the accumulation of the points. Specifically: 

  • 100 points = coupon worth Euro 1.00;
  • 200 points = coupon worth Euro 2.00;
  • 300 points = coupon worth Euro 3.00;
  • 400 points = coupon worth Euro 4.00;
  • 550 points = coupon worth Euro 5.50;

Implicit conversion ratio: 1 point = 0.10 Euro (ten Euro cents). Redemption threshold equal to 100 points = 1 Euro.

The coupon generated following redemption of accumulated points may be used on all products available in the online store except Lip Balm Sticks, Accessories and Digital Gift Cards. If the cart contains other items in addition to the exceptions, the coupon will apply regularly to the other items.

In this regard, please note that the Program provides, against a certain spend, with an entry threshold of 100 points, rewards consisting of vouchers to be used on a subsequent purchase at the same online store, consisting of the Site (the same one that issued said vouchers). 

Loyalty program points will expire after 365 days of inactivity, that is, without orders.


5. Use of the account and security

Joining the Program and registering the User’s data in Skin First’s IT systems will only be possible if the data provided when joining the Program are up to date, complete, legible, and usable. 

The points accumulated by the User in their Account may under no circumstances be assigned to third parties and/or transferred to other Accounts other than the one used for the collection. 

The same User is not allowed to register more than one Account. Therefore, each User may hold only one Account on the website https://www.skinfirstcosmetics.it.  

Skin First reserves the right to request suitable proof of identity in order to verify the identity of anyone wishing to join the Program, in particular to check cases of identical names or where it is reasonable to believe that a User has already joined the Program. In the event that a refund is requested or the right of withdrawal is exercised for a purchase made on the website https://www.skinfirstcosmetics.it, Skin First reserves the right to reduce the corresponding amount of points credited to the User’s Account. If the user has already used the points obtained, their balance will go negative. Only the User may use the registration and access credentials for the Account. Account credentials must not be transferred to third parties. The User undertakes to keep them confidential and to ensure that no third party has access to them, adopting all appropriate security measures so as to minimize the risks of unauthorized, unapproved, or non-compliant access to their Account. The Customer undertakes to promptly inform Skin First if they suspect improper use, unauthorized access, or unapproved access to their Account. Skin First reserves the right to verify that the email address on file is correct, by sending an appropriate email to the User and requesting that they open it and review the link contained in that email. The User guarantees that the personal information provided during the registration process, as well as thereafter, is complete and truthful.   


6. Rights reserved to Skin First

Skin First reserves the right, at any time, to amend the provisions of these Regulations and will inform the User of any changes in the manner it deems most appropriate (for example by email, on the website https://www.skinfirstcosmetics.it).   

The applicable version in force of the Regulations, and therefore applicable to the User, is the one available on the website https://www.skinfirstcosmetics.it. Skin First invites the User to periodically check the latest version of the Regulations on the website https://www.skinfirstcosmetics.it. 

All amended versions of these Regulations are applicable from their publication on the website on 21 April 2023. 

Skin First may suspend or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Program for any reason at its sole discretion. 

The suspension or discontinuation of the Program will take effect from the date of its publication on the website https://www.skinfirstcosmetics.it, and the User will also be informed by communication sent to the contact details provided during Account registration. 

The suspension or termination of the Program shall not entitle the participant to any kind of compensation. 

Skin First reserves the right not to contact Users who are not active within the Program (this refers to all Users who have not made purchases in the last 12 (twelve) months using their Account) to inform them of its developments. Skin First will make every reasonable effort to safeguard, in the event of malfunction, the points accumulated by the User with their Account. 


7. Suspension and/or deactivation

The Program requires the User to comply with the provisions of these Regulations and to act in accordance with the principles of good faith and fairness towards Skin First. Consequently, Skin First reserves the right to temporarily or permanently suspend and/or disable the User’s Account, with the possible loss of accumulated points, in the event of abuse by the User or failure to comply with any of the provisions of these Regulations. Skin First may proceed with the suspension and/or deactivation referred to above, notifying the User in the manner and by the means it deems most appropriate, without the User being entitled to claim and/or demand any compensation from Skin First. 

In particular, in cases of: 

  • Fraudulent actions and/or attempted fraud carried out during purchases on the website https://www.skinfirstcosmetics.it;
  • Improper use of and/or abuse of the Program; 
  • Any action aimed at disrupting the operation of the Program; 
  • Purchases in high numbers or otherwise irregular within a short period of time, by way of example and not limited to, within 24 (twenty-four) hours; 
  • In the event of non-payment and/or failure to complete payment, where more than 1 (one) month has passed from any reminder by Skin First; 
  • In general, failure to comply with the conditions provided for in these Regulations. 


8. Miscellaneous provisions

The Program is not subject to the provisions of Presidential Decree no. 430 of 26/20/2001, based on the provisions of art. 6 para. 1 letter c bis) thereof and in accordance with Circular no. 311/E of 11 December 1997 of the former Ministry of Finance, which excludes the reward-based nature of the Program.  


9. Processing of personal data

The User is required to read the privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) directly on the Site, at the URL: https://www.skinfirstcosmetics.it/pages/privacy-policy


10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Regulations are governed by Italian law. Any and all disputes arising, directly or indirectly, from the execution and/or interpretation of these Regulations shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the court of the User’s place of residence.
