What is it?

Polyhydroxy acid (PHA) derived from lactose. It is a high molecular weight molecule, known for its ability to exfoliate and hydrate simultaneously.

What is this for?

Gently exfoliates the skin surface, supporting cellular turnover and radiance without compromising the skin barrier. Thanks to its highly hygroscopic structure, it traps water in the skin and improves its firmness, while its antioxidant action fights damage from oxidative stress and photoaging.

Next-generation exfoliating active ingredient, Lactobionic Acid acts as a gentle renewal booster for sensitive skin. Unlike traditional AHAs, it penetrates more slowly and does not cause irritation, instead promoting gradual, controlled exfoliation. It helps remove dead skin cells, improve brightness, and strengthen the skin barrier thanks to its natural moisturizing effect. Scientific studies* also demonstrate its ability to increase skin hydration and elasticity compared to other exfoliating acids, stimulating the production of glycans and collagen for firmer, smoother skin.
