Face cream

Let’s start by noting that the facial cream is an emulsion, meaning it’s a mixture containing an oily phase and an aqueous phase, and it includes ingredients that are suited for different skin types.

It has a consistency and properties that vary based on its composition, and it primarily serves to keep the skin hydrated and protected from external factors, maintain the skin’s barrier function, and deliver immediate relief, especially if it’s soothing.

What substances does it contain?

Face cream, depending on its functions, can contain these substances:

  • Emollients: which replenish the lipophilic component of the hydro-lipid film, restoring the function of the skin barrier.
  • Humectants: which provide a hydrating effect on the Skin
  • Soothing Agents: useful for sensitive and dry Skins
  • Functional Ingredients: Many brands add functional ingredients to face cream, such as retinol, vitamin C, hyaluronic acid, or peptides. For this reason, it’s always best to read the label before choosing a face cream: you may already be using that active ingredient, or it could be overly irritating or harmful for your Skin.

How to apply it

The Lightening Gel can be used in small quantities on individual
Dark spots or small hyperpigmented areas of the face. It should be applied no more
than twice daily. Apply locally to the facial Dark spots in the evening and/or
morning, for a maximum of two applications per day. We recommend applying it to
dry Skin, before your facial cream and waiting for it to be fully absorbed
before  proceeding with your skincare.
Daily use for 6-8 weeks is recommended for optimal results. It is
suitable for all Skin types that present Dark spots and post-acne
marks. For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes. Not recommended
for pregnant or breastfeeding women.

How to apply it

Once you have found the cream that best suits your needs, apply it in this way: take the correct amount of product for your face and spread it using your fingertips with gentle movements always starting from the center of your face outwards and from  bottom to top (you can also tap it on certain areas to stimulate microcirculation). Don’t forget  your neck: with an open, light hand, massage the cream from the collarbones to your chin and from the area under the earlobes up to your shoulders.
